Motorcyclist, 25, Injured in Car Accident
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (August 7, 2023) — An injury motorcycle accident on Home Avenue happened Saturday in the Ridgeview-Webster neighborhood in San Diego.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 11:22 p.m. on Friday, August 4th, according to the Times of San Diego.
A 25-year-old man was riding his 2017 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound in the 4500 block of Home Avenue. Suddenly, a 46-year-old woman driving a 2011 Hyundai Tucson made a U-turn in front of him. The bike crashed into the car’s front left fender and the rider went down in the roadway.
Man Riding Motorcycle Injured/Hospitalized
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured man to a hospital for treatment of several fractures and an ankle laceration.
Officers with the San Diego Police Department responded and they are heading up an investigation into the collision. Police do not suspect alcohol and or drugs were factors.
Finally, the SDPD’s Traffic Division is heading up the investigation into the motorcycle accident on Home Avenue.
