Motorcycle Accident on State Route 155, Keyesville Road near Lake Isabella

LAKE ISABELLA, Calif. (June 5, 2026) — A motorcyclist suffered major injuries following a collision involving a pickup truck or commercial vehicle Friday afternoon at the intersection of State Route 155 and Keyesville Road near Lake Isabella, according to authorities.

The crash was reported on June 5th shortly after 1 p.m. when California Highway Patrol dispatchers received reports of a collision involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle. Authorities later upgraded the incident to a major-injury crash.

Initial reports indicated the second vehicle may have been a Home Depot truck, box truck or big rig that came to a stop along the right shoulder near Keyesville Road.

Emergency responders, including CHP officers and medical personnel, were dispatched to the scene. Dispatch logs indicated a medical helicopter was initially considered, though it was later transferred to the Nugget Flying Zone and ultimately deemed unnecessary.

Traffic was temporarily affected as emergency crews worked at the scene, though authorities reopened all lanes by approximately 1:47 p.m.

A tow truck was requested to assist with vehicle recovery. Information regarding the condition of the injured motorcyclist was not immediately available.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
