Major Injury Motorcycle Crash on 91 Freeway in Orange County
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 13, 2025) — A major injury motorcycle accident happened Monday on the Riverside 91 Freeway, just east of the 241 Toll Road in Anaheim Hills.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in the westbound lanes of the 91 Freeway just before 5 a.m. on Jan. 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a white Dodge Challenger sports car and a motorcyclist collided where the 241 transition starts. A witness told 911 operators “the Dodge crashed into the motorcyclist and the rider was ejected off the bike and hit the center divider.”
Paramedics responded and located the motorcycle rider with major injuries. They transported the motorcyclist to a hospital for further treatment.
Caltrans issued a SigAlert due to traffic lanes blocking in the Riverside Freeway and State Route 241, the report said.
Meanwhile, tow trucks from Geers Towing in Anaheim removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
