Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on Sloughhouse Road

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 11, 2023) — A motorcycle accident left one person injured Monday afternoon in a car accident on Sloughhouse Road in Sloughhouse.

The two-vehicle collision occurred in front of 7574 Sloughhouse Road at around 2:06 p.m. on Dec. 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A driver in a Subaru allegedly made a left-hand turn into a driveway directly into the path of an oncoming motorcycle rider. The two vehicles collided and the rider was seriously injured, the report said.

The Sacramento County Fire Department responded and located the motorcyclist suffering from major injuries and transported the person to Kaiser South hospital. The injured rider is being treated for road rash and a broken ankle.

Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Sloughhouse Road.
