Motorcyclist Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on SR-163 in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (June 4, 2025) — A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries Wednesday morning following a two-vehicle collision on southbound State Route 163 near Washington Street, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The incident was first reported at approximately 8:48 a.m. on June 4th, when a motorcyclist was seen lying on the ground in the middle lane. The crash involved a motorcycle and a silver Nissan Kicks SUV.
Motorcyclist Injured in San Diego Collision
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and moved the involved vehicles to the right-hand shoulder to clear the roadway. Initially reported as a non-injury crash, the incident was later upgraded to a minor injury collision. CHP confirmed that no parties required transport to the hospital.
Towing services were requested for the motorcycle, and the road remained partially impacted during cleanup.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. No further details have been released at this time.
