Motorcycle Accident Swanson Road and Griffith Avenue Merced County
MERCED, Calif., (Sept. 29, 2026) — A gray Chevrolet Silverado and a Honda motorcycle were involved in a traffic accident Tuesday at Swanson Road and Griffith Avenue near Delhi in Merced County.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported the major injury collision on Sept. 29th at approximately 6:59 a.m. Emergency responders were dispatched swiftly, with fire services and American Medical Response (AMR) arriving on the scene shortly after. The intersection and northbound lanes were reportedly blocked due to the collision, necessitating a rotation tow for the involved vehicles.
Paramedics transported the injured motorcyclist with major injuries to Memorial Hospital, as indicated by AMR’s run number 03989431.
Authorities have not yet released the names or ages of the individuals involved. Both vehicles, the gray Chevrolet Silverado and the Honda street bike, were removed from the scene by tow services, TNB Tow and Allways Tow, respectively.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation by police. They are urging any witnesses to come forward to aid in their inquiry.
