LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 19, 2022) — A multi-vehicle motorcycle crash happened on the Interstate 105 Freeway Friday morning near Central Avenue in Los Angeles.

Additionally, the collision occurred in the westbound lanes of the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway about 8:50 a.m. on August 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials say the drivers involved included a black Mercedes Benz sedan, a motorcyclist and a big rig truck. The motorcycle wound up stuck underneath the truck following the crash. Firefighters used heavy equipment to life the truck to get it out.

Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to help the injured motorcycle rider. However, the LAFD did not mention the extent of injuries or if others were hurt.

Finally, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the motorcycle crash on the Glenn Anderson 105 Freeway.
