Motorcyclist Injured in Car Accident on SR-91 in Yorba Linda
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 27, 2023) — A motorcycle versus car accident happened Wednesday morning on the Riverside 91 Freeway, just west of Coal Canyon Road in Yorba Linda.
The two-vehicle collision occurred on the westbound State Route 91 at around 6:22 a.m. on Dec. 27th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of a white Nissan Sentra and a motorcyclist were involved in the collision that was blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the Riverside Freeway.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time. However, the motorcycle rider managed to get up after the crash, but had an leg injury and required medical attention.
Paramedics responded with an ambulance and transported the injured rider to OC Global Medical Center for further treatment.
The CHP is heading up an investigation into liability for the collision.
