EAST LOS ANGELES, California (May 5, 2016) — A motorcyclist was injured Thursday morning in a crash with another motorist at Garfield Avenue and Fairfield Street, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 10:02 a.m. this morning and was blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes on southbound Garfield Avenue. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene to help the injured rider, but the report does not mention if they were hospitalized or not.
The bike was leaking gas and required a flatbed tow truck to remove it from the scene.
