Motorcyclist, Volkswagen Collide on Ventura Freeway
ENCINO, Calif. (Dec. 12, 2024) — A motorcycle and a Volkswagen collided while merging at the same time into the fast lane Thursday on the Ventura 101 Freeway at Balboa Boulevard in Encino.
The two vehicles collided in the westbound 101 traffic lanes at around 7:21 a.m. on Dec. 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the white Volkswagen Golf and the bike came to a stop in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to help those who were injured, but there are no further details at this time.
Investigators will determine fault for the Encino motorcycle accident on the 101 Freeway.
