Los Angeles, CA (Feb. 25, 2025) – A serious crash occurred early this morning on eastbound I-105, just west of Garfield Avenue in Los Angeles. The incident involved a motorcycle and a white Maserati.
The collision happened at approximately 8:03 a.m. on Feb. 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The motorcyclist went down in the fast lane after the collision with the Maserati. Traffic was severely impacted with one lane blocked near the HOV lane.
Emergency responders were quick to arrive on the scene. At 8:06 AM, CHP confirmed that all parties involved were in contact with law enforcement. While the motorcyclist was reported as “rider up and walking,” the vehicle blocking the second lane caused delays as authorities worked to clear the area.

Motorists in the area experienced significant delays as traffic backed up towards the 710 freeway.
The cause of the collision and liability remains under investigation.
As of now, no major injuries have been reported beyond the motorcyclist being briefly down, and authorities are working to clear the remaining vehicles from the scene.
Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
