Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-405 Freeway
VAN NUYS, Calif. (April 24, 2024) — A driver in a white Acura sedan struck a motorcycle Wednesday morning after a crash on the Interstate 405 Freeway, just north of Sherman Way in Van Nuys.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred at around 7:16 a.m. on April 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the motorcyclist collided with a Honda and was hit by the Acura after he fell of the bike in the middle lanes of the freeway, the report said.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to help the injured rider, but there are no further details.
A tow truck removed the damaged motorcycle from the southbound lanes of the freeway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle crash on Highway 101.
