Motorcycle Crash Camino Del Norte On-Ramp to I-15 Freeway in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Sept. 30, 2026) — A motorcycle rider was injured in a crash involving a Mercedes-Benz on Wednesday on Camino Del Norte in front of the on-ramp to northbound Interstate 15 in San Diego.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch log it happened at 11:43 a.m. on Sept. 30, 2026. The male rider was found lying in the roadway at the beginning of the on-ramp to the I-15. A blue Mercedes-Benz was stopped nearby. The collision happened on Camino Del Norte and the victim landed in front of the on-ramp.

Paramedics responded and transported the injured rider to a hospital in unknown condition.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation to determine fault.
