Motorcyclist Injured in Collision on SR-1 Near Castroville

CASTROVILLE, Calif. (Nov. 5, 2024) — A motorcycle and vehicle were involved in a crash Tuesday morning on Highway 1 at State Route 156 near Castroville.

The two-vehicle collision occurred on northbound State Route 1 around 9 a.m. on Nov. 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and paramedics responded to the scene.

A tow truck removed the motorcycle, but it appears the other vehicle was not badly damaged.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle crash on Highway 1 near Castroville.
