Motorcycle Rider Hurt in Highway 52 Collision
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (July 19, 2021) — A motorcycle crash on Highway 52 near Mast Boulevard happened Monday afternoon in San Diego.
The traffic accident happened about 3:08 p.m. on July 19th on the San Clemente Canyon Freeway (SR-52), according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a Toyota Corolla and a motorcycle collided due to unknown circumstances, police said. The vehicles were in the No. 1 lane of State Route 52 when the rider went down near the center divider on the bridge over Mast Boulevard. Someone called 911 for help after the motorcycle crash on Highway 52. Firefighters and police promptly responded.
Police arrived on scene to find the motorcycle rider sitting up in the center divider area. Paramedics responded to the scene to check the motorcyclist for injuries, but there are no further details.
Investigators with the California Highway Patrol San Diego seek to determine cause for the Highway 52 motorcycle crash.
