Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Foster City Accident on Westbound Highway 92
FOSTER CITY (August 28, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a traffic collision along Highway 92 on Tuesday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on August 27 at approximately 2:35 p.m. near the Foster City Boulevard off-ramp.
According to the dispatch, a blue and silver colored Harley Davidson sport motorcycle and a white Chevrolet S-10 collided for an unknown reason on westbound Highway 92.

The bike reportedly sustained major damage while the pickup truck had moderate front-end damage as a result of the crash.
Paramedics responded to the scene and found the rider suffering from major injuries following the wreck. The patient was then taken to Stanford Hospital for treatment.
The name and condition of the wounded party at this time were not immediately available. Meanwhile, the Nos 1, 2 and 3 lanes were closed due to the incident.
All lanes were reopened as of 3:23 p.m. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
