Motorcycles Crash on I-215 Freeway in Grand Terrace, Riverside County
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 11, 2022) — A motorcycle crash on the Interstate 215 Freeway happened Tuesday morning when a driver in a blue car allegedly cut off two bikes and they went down in the HOV lane.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of the I-215 about 7:51 a.m. on Jan. 11th, just south of Barton Road in the Grand Terrace area of Riverside County.
A witness told the California Highway Patrol a driver in a blue sedan allegedly caused the collision and both bikes crashed.
The traffic accident blocked both the HOV and No. 1 lanes, police said. It appears that the driver in the blue vehicle stopped and is cooperating with the investigation. Paramedics responded and transported at least one of the injured riders to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
A tow truck responded to remove at least one of the motorcycles from the crash scene.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault.
