Motorcyclist Injured in Collision on State Route 55
SANTA ANA, Calif. (Oct. 25, 2024) — A motorcycle and car were involved in a Santa Ana crash on the 55 Freeway, just north of the southbound 405 Freeway.
The collision occurred at 9:50 a.m. on Oct. 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the blue sedan and the motorcyclist collided due to unknown reasons in the middle lanes.
The rider managed to get up and walk and a good Samaritan moved the bike out of the roadway.
Paramedics responded to treat the rider for minor injuries, but it’s unknown if the person was taken to a hospital.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on the 55 Freeway.
