FURNACE CREEK (April 13, 2017)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a major injury crash involving a motorcycle occurred Thursday morning on Highway 190 at Zabrikskie Point Road.
CHP officials responded to the crash after being notified at precisely 10:43 a.m. that a motorcycle and an SUV had collided.
Authorities described the scene as two victims were down lying in the middle of the road with obvious injuries with the SUV having damage to the rear and side of the vehicle.
Paramedics arrived at the scene to transport two injured parties with injuries ranging from moderate to very serious. Both were transported to Desert View Hospital located in Pahrump, Nevada.
No details have been released thus far regarding the cause of the crash as Two Star Towing towed away both the motorcycle and SUV from the scene.
CHP will continue their investigation to determine what transpired.
