Motorcycle, Cybertruck Crash I-580 Freeway in Pleasanton

PLEASANTON, Calif. (June 20, 2025) — A crash involving a motorcycle and a Cybertruck happened Friday afternoon on the I-580 Freeway in Pleasanton.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred around 12:36 p.m. on June 20th, at exit 44B near the interchange with the I-680, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the motorcyclist and Cybertruck collided in the No. 1 lane and a black Volkswagen stopped behind the bike.
An ambulance responded, and paramedics tended to the motorcyclist who was lying in the fast lane. The injured rider was taken to Eden Hospital in Castro Valley, the report said.
A tow truck removed the green sport bike from the roadway.
Meanwhile, the driver of the silver Cybertruck was stopped roughly 50 yards from the scene on the right shoulder of the highway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Pleasanton crash.
