Motorcycle Rider in Crash on 15 Freeway, Oak Hill Road in Cajon Pass

CAJON PASS, Calif. (May 12, 2025) — A motorcycle rider suffered major injuries in a Cajon Pass crash Sunday afternoon on the southbound 15 Freeway, just south of Oak Hill Road.

The two-vehicle collision happened around 4:15 p.m. on May 11, 2025, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The motorcyclist and a silver sedan collided due to unknown circumstances in the fast lane, causing the rider to be thrown off the bike, police said.

Emergency responders, including the San Bernardino County Fire Department, treated the injured rider on scene and requested a Mercy Air medical helicopter to take him to a hospital.

The rider was conscious at the scene and his condition as of Monday is unknown at this time.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash and will determine fault.
