
Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Mail Truck
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (May 3, 2023) — A motorcycle rider died Tuesday in a crash with a USPS mail truck on Marina Drive in Santa Barbara.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 4:51 p.m. on May 2nd, according to KSBY News.
The crash happened when the motorcycle rider and the USPS mail truck collided due to unknown circumstances in the 4200 block of Marina Drive, the report said.
The male riding the motorcycle suffered major injuries and died at the scene. His name and age will be released after relatives are notified.
Meanwhile, the postal carrier driving the mail truck was not injured.
Investigators continue to work on the case and will determine fault for the Santa Barbara motorcycle accident.
