Teenage Boy Riding Motorcycle Killed in Car Accident on Fowler Avenue
FRESNO, Calif. (Sept. 11, 2024) — Austin Ly, 16, has been identified as the motorcycle rider who died Tuesday in a car accident on Fowler Avenue at Tulare Avenue in Fresno.
The traffic accident occurred at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10th, according to ABC 30 News.
The teenager who attended Clovis East High School was riding the bike when he allegedly drove through a red light and was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
The driver of a car was reportedly turning onto Fowler Avenue when they hit the teen. The rider was thrown off the bike and severely injured.
Paramedics rushed him to the hospital, but he later died from his injuries.
Authorities say the driver of the car cooperated with the investigation.
