Motorcyclist Killed in Placentia Crash on Imperial Highway

PLACENTIA, Calif. (July 23, 2026) – A 23-year-old Yorba Linda man riding a motorcycle died Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash at Imperial Highway and Rose Drive in Placentia.

Authorities alerted to a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle around 12:30 p.m. on July 22nd, according to the Placentia Police Department.

Upon arrival at the scene emergency crews located the motorcyclist in the roadway with traumatic injuries, but despite efforts to save his life he died at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash stopped and cooperated with detectives and the investigation, police said. Detectives continue to work on the case and do not suspect alcohol or drugs were factors in the collision.
