2 Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on Grand Avenue
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 11, 2024) — Two men riding motorcycles were injured in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night on Grand Avenue in Pacific Beach.
A driver in a westbound 2002 Honda Civic turned left towards Bayard Street, crossed into the path of two eastbound motorcycle riders. The bikers were hit broadside by the motorist at around 10:27 p.m. on Jan. 11th, according to the Times of San Diego and the San Diego Police Department.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded and located the two men ages 22 and 23 years old suffering injuries after the collision. Paramedics rushed them both to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. One had two broken fingers and bruising to his bladder and pelvis and the other had complaints of pain.
The case remains under investigation by the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division.
