Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on I-405 Freeway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 17, 2022) — A motorcycle accident involving an SUV happened Wednesday morning on the Interstate 405 Freeway just south of Mulholland Drive.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 5:52 a.m. on August 17th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The CHP report stated a driver in a gray Toyota RAV4 SUV and or a tan 4-door sedan collided with the motorcyclist due to unknown circumstances. Also, the report stated there was a ladder in the HOV lane that may have caused the crash.
The bike went down in the southbound HOV lane and overturned multiple times, the report said.
Paramedics responded to the scene to help the injured motorcyclist, but there are no further details.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the 405 Freeway motorcycle accident.
