PALOMAR MOUNTAIN, San Diego County (June 26, 2016) – A 46-year-old motorcyclist has been killed as a result of a collision on Grade Road near Canfield Road, according to an article by ABC 10 News.
The accident took place today at around 3:00 p.m.
In detail, the article mentioned a rider in a 2008 Yamaha R1 motorcycle he was driving northbound on South Grade Road. Then suddenly, the rider dropped his bike in a curve and was overthrown to the opposite lane.
The event led the motorcyclist struck by an oncoming 2008 Nissan Versa driven by a 40-year-old man. The force from the impact resulted in major injuries to the motorcyclist. The patient was taken to Palomar Hospital where he has been pronounced dead.
The Nissan driver stopped upon collision and remained at the scene. Investigation is underway.
