PALM DESERT, California (October 15, 2014) — A motorcyclist suffered major injuries in a collision with a driver who was also hurt Wednesday morning at the intersection of Portola Avenue and Gerald Ford Drive, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
A team of 13 Riverside County firefighters responded to the collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle this morning. Paramedics transported two people to a local hospital including one with major injuries and the other with minor injuries.
“Police will head up an investigation into this crash to determine liability,” said Attorney James Johnson. “Hopefully those injured receive the best care available for a full recovery.”
