Motorcyclist Injured in Clairemont Accident
CLAIREMONT, Calif. (Oct. 1, 2018) — A 51-year-old man riding a motorcycle suffered serious injuries Sunday night when he was struck by a car on Genesee Avenue, just west of Mesa College.
The collision took place about 9:25 p.m., San Diego police said.
The Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Boyd Avenue when he turned onto southbound Genesee Avenue. A 25-year-old man driving a Toyota sedan was heading southbound on Genesee Avenue when the car sideswiped the motorcyclist, police said.
The impact threw the rider off the motorcycle and into the roadway.
A person who is injured in a collision such as this one may have a long road to recovery ahead of them, but there are important steps that should be taken to ensure their financial losses are recovered.
