Motorcyclist Injured in Car Accident Ulric Street in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, California (July 6, 2017) — A motorcyclist was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon when a driver made a left-hand turn in front of the bike who had the right-of-way at an intersection on Ulric Street, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The crash took place about 3:41 p.m. yesterday in the Mission Valley West neighborhood. Police say the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Ulric Street. The vehicle was heading south in the left-turn lane and was turning onto the southbound State Route 163 on ramp.
Paramedics arrived at the scene to help the injured rider who suffered a fractured left femur. The motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to a hospital for further medical treatment.
The crash is under investigation by police.
