CHICO, California (March 22, 2016) — A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries Tuesday afternoon in a collision involving two other motorists on the northbound State Route Highway 99 at the East Avenue on ramp, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash was reported about 3:18 p.m. when someone called 911 to report a person lying in the roadway and a Harley Davidson was down in one of the lanes. A driver named Jessica who was driving a royal blue Honda CRV was also involved and pulled over to the center divider. It appears one of the vehicles was struck from behind by another vehicle. Paramedics responded to help those with minor injuries.
A full investigation into liability for the traffic accident is underway by police.
“Hopefully this motorcycle rider has a full recovery,” said Attorney James Johnson.
