ONTARIO, California (August 23, 2016) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a collision on Highway 60 Tuesday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch.
CHP first logged the incident when a gray colored sedan and a black 2011 Honda motorcycle collided at approximately 5:05 p.m. The crash occurred on westbound Highway 60 near Grove Avenue.
As per the report log, the rider was thrown from his bike, went airborne and possibly became pinned underneath a vehicle described as a black Mustang. Paramedics responded to the scene and freed the victim who was then transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
The name and condition of the patient at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, the dispatch mentioned that a silver Chevrolet Silverado and a pickup truck were also seen in the area and were believed to have collided on the highway.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
