Motorcycle Rider Struck by Car
The crash took place on westbound Highway 50 near Stockton Boulevard.
As per CHP, a motorcycle was found down and its rider lying on the ground after being struck by a vehicle about 6:10 p.m. The driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
Sacramento Fire Department personnel along with the paramedics responded to attend to the wounded motorcyclist. The name and the extent of the injuries sustained by the victim were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, the dispatch mentioned that the suspect vehicle possibly hit another car in the area.
Authorities will gather more information and evidence to locate the hit-and-run motorist.
