Motorcyclist Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash at 47th Avenue and 44th Street in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (June 11, 2025) — A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries Wednesday afternoon following a three-vehicle crash in south Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The collision occurred around 2:00 p.m. near the intersection of 47th Avenue and 44th Street, just west of State Route 180. CHP logs indicate the crash involved a motorcycle and a gray Toyota Sequoia, with a third vehicle also listed in the incident.

Initial reports stated that the rider was found down in the middle of the roadway. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene, and the incident was later classified as a minor injury collision.

Tow services were requested for the motorcycle, and traffic was temporarily affected in the westbound lanes of 47th Avenue while responders cleared the scene.

The exact cause of the crash is under investigation. No other injuries were reported.
