Motorcyclist Injured in Collision on I-880 Off-Ramp in Fremont

FREMONT, Calif. (April 15, 2026) — A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday morning in a traffic collision involving a car on the southbound Interstate 880 Freeway off-ramp at Auto Mall Parkway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported on April 15th at approximately 8:54 a.m. on the right-hand side of the off-ramp at Exit 15. Initial reports indicated a white Toyota Camry collided with a red Triumph sport motorcycle.

CHP logs show the rider was conscious but appeared to be in pain following the impact. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, and the incident was later upgraded from unknown injuries to one requiring medical response.

Authorities requested a tow truck for the damaged motorcycle, while traffic in the area was briefly affected as crews worked to clear the scene.

The extent of the rider’s injuries has not been disclosed, and it is unclear whether anyone else was hurt.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
