Moreno Valley 60 Freeway Collision
MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (Dec. 4, 2024) — A motorcycle accident happened Wednesday morning on the westbound Moreno Valley 60 Freeway, just east of Day Street in Riverside County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 7 a.m. on Dec. 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials responded to the scene of the crash between the motorcyclist and a driver in a white GMC Yukon SUV.
The SUV was stopped in the HOV lane where the rider went down, but his bike wound up blocking the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes of the freeway.
The rider was able to get up and was standing in the center divider area, but had injuries and was transported by ambulance to a hospital.
A tow truck removed the motorcycle from the freeway and investigators are working to determine fault for the accident on the 60 Freeway.
