Suspect in Black Car Flees Motorcycle Crash Scene
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Jan. 22, 2020) — A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries Wednesday morning in a collision on the Interstate 105 Freeway at Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles.
The crash took place about 6:14 a.m. in the HOV lane. The motorcycle rider and the black sedan collided and the rider went down in the HOV lane, but the suspect fled the scene in the 4-door sedan, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Ambulance Responds to 105 Freeway Motorcycle Accident
Paramedics responded to the scene to rush the injured rider to Harbor UCLA Medical Center for treatment of a major head injury.
Police are searching for the driver who fled, but there was no further description available.
The crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
