Suspect Evades Crash Site
COMPTON, California (August 27, 2016) – A motorcyclist sustained injuries as a result of hit-and-run collision on Interstate 710 freeway near Compton Boulevard, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident took place on August 27, Saturday.
In detail, the CHP mentioned a motorcycle rider was on the northbound of the freeway shortly before 4:30 p.m. Then suddenly, it has been sideswiped by a car which is later identified as involved in a street racing. Further, the authorities affirmed a silver Mitsubishi Lancer and a silver Acura TL were illegally racing at the area during the crash. The motorcycle sustained injuries after the impact.
Due to officers still working in notifying next of kin, the names of the involved are withheld. Investigation is ongoing.
