He was identified by the police as Jose Armenta, of Virgina.
As per the article, police said Armenta was riding his 2012 Honda CBR motorcycle east on Murray Avenue when he collided with a 2004 Dodge pickup headed north on Court Street.
Armenta was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the driver of the truck, 54-year-old Visalia resident Vincent Wilson, was unharmed following the crash.
The cause of the incident, which took place just after 6 p.m., remains under investigation.
