Rider Dead after Colliding with Semi-Truck
HESPERIA, California (July 4, 2016) – A motorcyclist identified as Jose Daniel Rocha Oregel, 21, of Hesperia, was killed after colliding with a truck Monday at the intersection of Ninth Avenue and Bear Valley Road, according to Victor Valley News.
The collision was reported at 11:29 a.m.
As per the article, a witness said Jose Daniel Rocha Oregel was riding a black Yamaha motorcycle going east on Bear Valley Road when at the same time a blue semi-truck was traveling west.
The big rig allegedly cut right in front of the 21-year-old man to make a left onto Ninth Avenue, causing the two to crash.
Rocha Oregel was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
