APPLE VALLEY (April 6, 2016)- According to the San Bernardino County Coroner, a fatal motorcycle collision resulted in the death of a man Tuesday evening.
The incident took place at the cross streets of Apple Valley and Yucca Loma roads at precisely 5:28 p.m.
Stephen Murphy, 63, of Apple Valley, has been identified as the motorcycle rider who was struck by a vehicle as he entered the intersection.
Murphy sustained major injuries and was airlifted to Loma Linda Med Center, where he did not survive and was pronounced dead at short while later.
No other information has been made public as the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department handles the investigation.
