LEMON GROVE, California — A motorcyclist died after a rear-end collision on Massachusetts Avenue Sunday evening.
As per an article by Fox 5, the crash happened near San Miguel Avenue shortly before 7:30 p.m. on March 5.
Witnesses claimed a 1992 Harley-Davidson motorcycle struck the back of a 2010 Toyota Corolla while both were head north on Massachusetts. The impact of the crash ejected the motorcyclist.
Responding medics rushed the seriously injured rider to a hospital where he later died, officials affirmed. The deceased’s name was withheld pending family notification.
Meanwhile, two occupants from the Toyota were unharmed from the incident.
As per Fox 5, alcohol and/or drugs seemed to have been a factor in the fatal crash. However, they did not discuss on which motorist’s part.
