Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Jacks Ranch Road, Ridgecrest Boulevard in Mojave

MOJAVE, Calif. (June 12, 2025) — A motorcyclist was killed Thursday night in a tragic collision involving a red sedan near the intersection of North Jacks Ranch Road and West Ridgecrest Boulevard in the Mojave area, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The fatal crash was reported around 8:46 p.m. on June 12th. CHP dispatchers initially received limited information, but arriving units confirmed that a motorcycle and a red four-door sedan were involved. The motorcyclist was found lying in the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
Kern County Fire Department responded shortly after the incident, and CHP requested two evidence tows for the involved vehicles. AV Tow was dispatched to the scene from Rosamond and later transported the vehicles to their facility in Palmdale.
The Kern County Coroner’s Office arrived just after 11:00 p.m. to begin their investigation and recover the victim.
The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation. It is not yet clear what caused the collision or whether speed, impairment, or any other factors played a role.
