Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on 210 Freeway in Claremont

CLAREMONT, Calif. (August 22, 2025) — A motorcyclist died late Tuesday night following a two-vehicle crash on the westbound 210 Freeway in Claremont, authorities said.
The August 19th collision was reported just after 10 p.m. near the Baseline Road exit. According to the California Highway Patrol, officers arrived to find the rider down in the No. 1 lane. Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department rushed the victim to Pomona Valley Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
The rider’s identity has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
A SigAlert was issued, shutting down the carpool and far-left lanes of the freeway as CHP officers investigated the cause of the crash.
