Motorcyclist Killed in Head-on Crash on Auberry Road in Fresno County

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 6, 2026) — Jayce Alonzo, 17, of Junction City, Kansas, died in a head-on crash involving the teen’s motorcycle and a pickup truck on Auberry Road in Fresno County.

The collision occurred around 3 p.m. on Jan. 2nd, just south of the Fresno Rifle and Pistol Club, according to the Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner.

The teenager was driving southbound on a BMW S1000RR motorcycle when he came upon a curve in the roadway. Meanwhile, a 39-year-old man driving an oncoming Ford F-350 dually pickup truck was approaching the same curve when the motorcyclist allegedly crossed into the path of the truck.

The two vehicles collided head-on and the rider was thrown off the bike into the roadway.

Unfortunately, the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
