Motorcyclist Killed in Long Beach Crash Atlantic Avenue, Villa Park

LONG BEACH, Calif. (Sept. 10, 2026) – A motorcyclist was killed early Thursday morning in a crash with an SUV in Long Beach at Atlantic Avenue and Villa Park.

The two-vehicle collision occurred around 1:45 a.m. on Sept. 10th at the Long Beach intersection between a motorcycle rider and the driver of an SUV,
according to the Long Beach Police Department.

The motorcyclist went down in the roadway and was seriously injured. Paramedics rushed the injured man to a hospital. The unidentified man later died from his injuries at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the driver in the SUV was also injured and hospitalized but was in stable condition.

Detectives working on the case believe that speed was a potential factor in the deadly crash.
