Motorcyclist Killed in Sherman Oaks Crash Identified as Timothy Marques

Fatal Sherman Oaks Crash at Ventura Boulevard and Greenbush Avenue
Sherman Oaks, CA (May 6, 2025) — A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision Sunday night at a busy Sherman Oaks intersection, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The crash was reported around 8:55 p.m. at Ventura Boulevard and Greenbush Avenue. Authorities say 41-year-old Timothy Marques was traveling eastbound on Ventura Boulevard in the far-left lane when a car turning left from Greenbush Avenue onto the westbound lanes of Ventura collided with his motorcycle.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and pronounced Timothy Marques dead. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later confirmed his identity.
Information about the driver of the car, including whether they sustained any injuries, has not been released. The LAPD says the investigation into the fatal crash remains ongoing.
