MERCED, California (October 21, 2016) – According to California Highway Patrol dispatch team, a fatal motorcycle crash took place in the area of Highway 59 and West Dickenson Ferry Road on Friday evening.
CHP first logged the incident when a motorcyclist and a white Toyota Tacoma collided shortly after 6 p.m.
As per the report, fire department personnel along with the paramedics responded and attended to the rider who was immediately given CPR at the scene. However, the victim was later pronounced dead.
The name of the deceased has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
