INGLEWOOD, California (June 3, 2016) – A motorcyclist was down after being involved in a crash on North Interstate 405 freeway near Century Boulevard, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The accident which took place today at around 7:34 a.m. was logged as a major injury incident.

As per the report, a gray Volkswagen Jetta and a motorcycle were involved in a wreck that resulted in the rider overthrown to the ground. The rider was found laying on the road and suffering in major injuries. Responding paramedics transported the patient to a hospital for treatment.

The names of the involved have not been released at this time pending notification of the family.
