Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Sherman Oaks Crash on Ventura Boulevard

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. (May 26, 2026) – A motorcyclist was critically injured Tuesday morning in a crash involving a sedan on Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks.
The motorcycle rider later died and was identified as Jordan Rashed, 22, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Bureau.
The crash was reported at 6:53 a.m. Tuesday in the 13000 block of Ventura Boulevard, at the intersection with Wooodman Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Paramedics responded and confirmed the rider’s death at the scene. At least one person from the sedan was transported to a hospital with serious injuries, the LAFD reported.
The circumstances leading up to the collision are under investigation.
